Our Vision
The Foundation’s goal is to create spaces and opportunities to celebrate Paonia’s place in the world by exploring the interconnected stories from soil to sky—revealing how the natural environment has shaped the lives, livelihoods and identity of our residents and neighboring communities.
Together, these themes create a compelling journey from the ground beneath our feet to the vast skies above, highlighting the deep connections between people, the environment and our place in the world.
Community Focused Projects
Vo-Tech
Our vision for the former Vo-Tech building is to breathe new life into the existing building with an adaptive re-use approach. Exhibit galleries, education spaces and a community kitchen classroom create a vibrant place for community learning.
Twin Lakes
This project would transform a vacant parcel of land into a vibrant astronomy center in the heart of our community. Let’s celebrate Paonia’s pristine night skies and build an iconic educational space that inspires future generations.
